Data Output

The output of the Eledo module depends on the selected action.

Eledo provides two actions in Make:

  • Generate PDF — returns the generated file
  • Prepare PDF Download URL — returns a link to the generated document

After a successful execution, the selected action determines what data is available for mapping in subsequent modules.

Using the Output in Other Modules

In Make, data flows from one module to another. The Eledo module becomes part of this flow by producing output that can be used in the next step.

Modules that follow Eledo act as destinations (sinks) — they receive the generated document and decide what to do with it.

For example, you can:

  • Upload the file to Google Drive
  • Attach it to a CRM record
  • Store it in another storage service

Modifying the Output

Some modules allow you to adjust how the generated document is handled.

For example, when uploading to Google Drive, you can:

  • use the generated file directly from Eledo
  • optionally map a custom filename
  • choose the destination folder

This means the Eledo module produces the document, while the following module controls how it is stored or delivered.

The exact options depend on the capabilities of the receiving module.

Choosing the Right Action

Use Generate PDF when:

  • you want to pass the file directly to another module
  • the next module expects a file input (for example, Google Drive upload)

Use Prepare PDF Download URL when:

  • you need a temporary link to retrieve the generated document
  • the receiving system expects a URL instead of a file
  • you do not need to pass the file as binary data

Note: The download URL is single-use. After the first download, it becomes invalid.

Notes

  • The output is available only after the Eledo module runs successfully.
  • If the output does not appear, run the scenario once to populate available data.
  • The availability of output fields depends on the capabilities of the receiving module.
